Turn fax activity into automated workflows.
Connect LuzardoFax to the apps your business already uses. Trigger alerts, tasks, tickets, and operational logs when fax activity changes — without sending fax documents or patient information to Zapier.
Trigger-only integration · No fax documents · No fax numbers · No names or message content
Automate the follow-up, not the fax.
LuzardoFax tells your other tools when something happens with a fax. What they do next is up to you.
Get notified when a fax arrives
Send an alert to Slack, Microsoft Teams, or another business app when LuzardoFax receives a fax.
Create a task when delivery fails
Automatically open a task or support ticket when an outbound fax cannot be delivered.
Track successful deliveries
Record delivery events in spreadsheets, dashboards, or internal systems — no manual logging.
Escalate partial deliveries
Start a follow-up workflow when a multi-recipient fax reaches some destinations but not others.
Log outbound activity
Keep a running record of every fax your team sends, in whatever tool your operations run on.
Connect to thousands of apps
Through Zapier, LuzardoFax fax events can reach thousands of apps — no code required.
Five fax events, ready to automate.
Each event can start a workflow using supported apps and actions in Zapier.
| Event | What it means | Example use |
|---|---|---|
| Fax received | A new fax arrived in your account | Send an internal notification |
| Fax sent | LuzardoFax began sending the fax | Log outbound activity |
| Fax delivered | The fax reached all recipients | Update an operational record |
| Fax failed | The fax could not be delivered | Create a support ticket |
| Fax partially delivered | Some recipients received it, others did not | Start a follow-up task |
The Zapier integration starts workflows when fax activity happens. It reads a restricted set of non-PHI event details — it does not carry fax documents, send faxes on your behalf, or change your account. You send and receive faxes in LuzardoFax as usual; Zapier simply reacts to what happens.
Three steps to your first automation.
Connect LuzardoFax
Create a Zapier-specific API key from Settings → API, then paste it into Zapier when prompted.
Choose an event
Pick the fax event that should start your workflow — received, sent, delivered, failed, or partial.
Choose what happens next
Send an alert, create a task, update a record, or connect the event to another supported app and action in Zapier.
Privacy-conscious automation by design.
The LuzardoFax Zapier integration is built for operational workflows that don’t require fax content or patient information.
Only a restricted set of event details: event type, delivery status, direction, page count, timestamp, and error code.
Fax documents, fax numbers, recipient details, sender names, subjects, contacts, and patient information are never sent through the integration.
The Zapier integration is limited to operational workflows that contain no PHI. Because most medical fax workflows involve patient information, do not use Zapier to route, retrieve, process, summarize, or enrich fax data. Use the LuzardoFax API for integrations involving PHI. Per Zapier’s data policy, its platform does not support regulated healthcare data under HIPAA.
Build your LuzardoFax workflow.
Choose an app and create an automation using supported LuzardoFax fax events.
The LuzardoFax connector is being reviewed by Zapier. Once approved, you’ll be able to build workflows right here. In the meantime, every fax event listed above is already live in the product.
Core fax event triggers are available now. Additional workflows may be added during the public beta period. Only the connector is in beta — LuzardoFax and its fax service are fully live.
Good to know.
Let fax events handle the follow-up.
